Buddy Lee’s New DNA

Diversified National Artists Agency, better known as DNA, has been acquired by Buddy Lee Attractions, president and CEO Tony Conway announced July 21.

Agent Steve Peck started the Palm Beach, Fla.-based company shortly after Live Nation announced it would acquire Fantasma Productions. Peck had worked with Fantasma’s founder, the late Jon Stoll, for several years.

Peck will launch the rock department at Buddy Lee as well as handle the West Coast territory for all the company’s artists.

"With the recent acquisition of Fantasma Productions in Florida by Live Nation, and the passing of its owner Jon Stoll, we began conversation with Steve about relocating to Nashville. He was an agent with BLA 12 years prior so this transition is so natural," Conway said in a statement.

"Steve is a much respected agent and leader in the entertainment industry," Buddy Lee senior VP Kevin Neal said. "He has a proven track record of success in the live touring world. We missed him while he was in Florida and are glad to have him back."

The decision to move back to Nashville apparently was an easy one for Peck. His daughter has decided to attend Belmont University, according to a statement.

Peck has reportedly taken 17 of his artists with him to Buddy Lee, but a formal announcement of the roster was not made at press time. He can be reached at 615-244-1336 ext. 114 or [email protected].
