Tatar Saves The Lovely Day

Ewald Tatar has overcome the problem of finding a headliner for his Lovely Days Festival in Austria by moving it to August to fit the touring plans of Neil Young.

Headliners could be a perennial problem for the Nova Music chief as few of the acts needed for the event, a sort of Austrian Woodstock, still tour.

In previous years Tatar has booked Blood Sweat & Tears, Ten Years After, Jethro Tull, Barclay James Harvest, Colosseum, Uriah Heap, Iron Butterfly, The Who, Canned Heat, and Country Joe McDonald.

This year’s Lovely Days is on the Wiesen festival site August 17 and the lineup also includes The Waterboys and Wishbone Ash.
