Canadian newspapers recently announced that actress Mena Suvari is engaged to a concert promoter. A promoter? We dug deeper.

Turns out, it’s Simone Sestito, the founder and president of Issimo. Sestito proposed about the time Issimo Live Music, based in Toronto, opened a U.S. division in Los Angeles.

Spokesman Phil Viardo told Pollstar Issimo is currently working on a U.S. schedule and anticipates the first run of dates to kick off by the end of August. Issimo recently produced three back-to-back, sold-out shows in Canada featuring 50 Cent/G-Unit, Sean Paul and Akon.
