The Story So Far
We never know what will greet us on Monday, what with deliveries occurring every minute of every hour of every weekend day. They come by e-mail, fax, boat and dogsled, each schedule lovingly dumped on our weekend loading dock for Monday morning research and processing. Here is what we have so far:
We have new club and theatre dates for Neko Case! Particulars include September 15 in Omaha at Sokol Auditorium / Underground, September 18 in Minneapolis at First Avenue, September 23 in Cleveland at Beachland Ballroom & Tavern and September 26 in Oklahoma City at Diamond Ballroom. Other cities included in Ms. Case’s latest update are Des Moines, Iowa, Madison, Wisconsin, and Oxford, Mississippi.
The Blind Boys Of Alabama keep on adding dates. Today’s new listing includes October 8 in Columbus, Ohio, November 7 in Oakland, California, and December 11 in London.
Juliana Hatfield updates today with west coast dates. New stops include Seattle on September 23 at The Triple Door, Portland on September 24 at Aladdin Theater, San Francisco on September 25 at Cafe Du Nord and Los Angeles on September 27 at Largo.
And we have three new ones for CAKE – September 28 in Rochester, New York, September 30 in Albany, New York and October 1 in Sayreville, New Jersey.
During the first 90 minutes of biz we also updated the schedules for BeauSoleil Avec Michael Doucet, Ruthie Foster, Pieta Brown, Mary J. Blige, The Octopus Project, The Tommy Castro Band, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and The Temptations Review Feat. Dennis Edwards.
But we don’t need to tell you that it’s still early and we have kilos of new concert data sitting on our loading dock waiting to be researched, stamped, pressed and processed. Don’t miss your Midday Update, coming up around 12 noon (PDT), from Pollstar.com!
