Dates, Dates & More Dates …

It’s always nice to see a new round of Carole King dates. Today’s CK update is for Japan and shows the singer/songwriter playing Tokyo on November 10 & 11, Osaka on November 14 & 15, Nagoya on November 17, back to Tokyo for November 21 & 22 and then a gig in Kobe on November 24.

Gaelic Storm adds August and September shows for the Great Lakes region as well as midwest, east coast, plains and southern states. New gigs include August 29 & 30 in Kansas City at Crown Center, September 5 in Towson, Maryland at Recher Theatre, September 7 in Toledo, Ohio at Toledo Civic Center and September 10 in Covington, Kentucky at Madison Theater. Also added is an October 16 date for San Francisco and an April 4, 2009 show for Utica, New York.

Everclear bulks up on new dates for August and September. Newbies include August 22 in Dewey Beach, Delaware at the Bottle & Cork, August 31 in Detroit at Belle Isle Grand Prix, September 4 in Philadelphia at Lincoln Financial Field and September 18 in Palmerton, Pennsylvania at Blue Mountain Ski Area.

And we have new fall U.K. / Europe dates for Black Kids. Stops include October 20 in Belfast, October 27 in Leeds, October 30 in London, November 4 in Berlin, November 5 in Copenhagen, November 12 in Amsterdam and November 14 in Paris.

During the day we also updated the schedules for All That Remains / Trivium, The New Pornographers, Peter Mulvey, Ani DiFranco, Primal Scream, Richie Havens, Rise Against, The Wedding Present, David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Monte Montgomery, Ryan Adams, Sara Bareilles, Hatebreed, Natalie Walker, Cobra Starship, Mary J. Blige, Robben Ford, plus thousands and thousands of bands and artists, with each and every date personally inspected by our staffers. Remember, if a date doesn’t have “examined by Pollstar.com” stamped on it, there’s no telling where that date may have come from. Or who may have handled it.

And that wraps up another Tuesday adventure searching for the ever-elusive concert date. Thank you for being our companion today and we hope you can join us tomorrow for another safari into the darkest regions of the concert industry. G’night!
