Billboard group editorial director Tamara Conniff announced July 29 that she is exiting the company.
Conniff is expected to be named president of music services for Irving Azoff’s Front Line Management Group. It was unclear at press time what her duties would entail.
Conniff, daughter of musician Ray Conniff, was a former music editor of Hollywood Reporter and senior editor of Amusement Business before becoming the executive editor of Billboard in 2004. Bill Werde will reportedly handle Conniff’s responsibilities at the recorded music trade publication.
