Rattlin’ Bones marks the first time the couple, who were married two years ago, have ever recorded together.

Chambers, who is an unqualified superstar in Australia by virtue of her solo albums, and Nicholson co-wrote nine songs for the album and another two individually, a task the singer told the Daily Telegraph wasn’t without its hazards.

“He’d get an idea for a song and rush to tell me,” Chambers said. “And I’d say, ‘Aagh, aagh, aagh, no. I’m doing the washing.”
