LaMontagne’s jaunt kicks off September 30 at the Murat Theatre in Indianapolis and will wind its away across the country dropping in on theatres through early November.

Stops include The State Theatre in Minneapolis (October 4), The Opera House in Boston (October 9-10), Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh, N.C. (October 16), Ryman Auditorium in Nashville (October 19), Majestic Theatre in Dallas (October 24), The Wiltern in Los Angeles (October 30), Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall in Portland, Ore. (November 5) and Marion Oliver McCaw Hall in Seattle (November 9).

Along with his band, LaMontagne will be joined by singer/songwriter Leona Naess, who will provide support.

Grain, due October 14, is LaMontagne’s third album and marks a departure for the musician from his first two.

While Trouble and Till The Sun Turns Black were largely solo affairs, with producer Ethan Johns serving as multi-tasking instrumentalist, the new disc sees the singer joined by members of his touring band – bassist Jennifer Condos and guitarist Eric Heywood – for the recording sessions, as well as Naess on two tracks.
