Australia’s buoyant festival scene has seen local versions of imported brands including V Fest, A Taste of Chaos, The Great Escape and the New York Guitar Festival.

Now U.K.’s All Tomorrow’s Parties confirmed a local event for early 2009. Local media speculated that Nick Cave will curate it.

At press time, dance promoter Future Entertainment was scheduled to announce a local version of a major U.K. dance festival for November.
