The short club run kicks off with an appearance September 3 on “Late Show with David Letterman.”

Stops on the itinerary include The Fillmore New York at Irving Plaza in New York City (September 4), The Trocadero in Philadelphia (September 5), House of Blues in Chicago (September 8), Music Box at the Henry Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles (September 12) and The Independent in San Francisco (September 14).

Knowle West, due September 9, was self-produced by Tricky with mixing assistance from Switch.

The album’s title is a reference to the urban ghetto where the artist was raised. The disc finds him “reaching into the post-punk, Two-Tone, Reggae, hip-hop and pure pop he grew up adoring and twisting it into surreal soundscapes.”
