The band, which is currently wrapping up a run of European festival dates and quick trips to China and Australia, kicks off a fall run September 4 at The Annex at Hamilton College in Clinton, N.Y., and hit clubs, theatres and the occasional festival and radio show in the U.S., Canada and Mexico through the end of October.

North American stops include Club Soda in Montreal (September 5), Central Park Summerstage in New York City (September 10), Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, R.I. (September 14), 103.9 Edgefest in Queen Creek, Ariz. (September 27), The Meridian in Houston (October 3), People’s in Des Moines, Iowa (October 8), Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio (October 14), Moto Rokr Fest at Foro Sol in Mexico City (October 18-19), Warfield Theatre in San Francisco (October 25), and Hollywood Palladium in California (October 28).

Opening duties for the trek will be handled by a rotating lineup that includes Illinois, stellastarr*, The Whigs and The Wombats.

The day before The Kooks take the Central Park Summerstage, the band will pack its guitars and climb aboard a double-decker bus for some sightseeing with tour guide Matt Pinfield. The tour will finish up at the Apple Store in Soho, where the band will play a free in-store show.
