White Exits Three Rivers Board
Shannon White has exited his executive director position at the Three Rivers Festival in Fort Wayne, Ind., after three years reportedly as part of a five-year reorganization process.
“The board decided that they wanted to move in a different direction. I obviously respect their decision. … It’s a very amicable departure. There’s no ill will on either end,” White told the city’s Journal Gazette.
White was asked to resign August 12 as part of the board’s long-term strategic plan adopted last year.
A committee is expected to scrutinize all aspects of the event and discuss changes where needed, the paper said.
The annual festival finished its nine-day run July 20 and featured acts such as Candlebox, Dark Star Orchestra, Billy Currington and Trey Songz.
