We kick off the first update of the day with new shows for Slipknot. By adding gigs in Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark Italy, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom, the band definitely has its roadwork cut out for it come October, November and December. New Japan dates include Nagoya on October 8 at Zepp Nagoya, Tokyo on October 10 & 11 at Studio Coast, Osaka on October 14 & 15 at Zepp Osaka and Sendai on October 16 at Zepp Sendai. The new date for New Zealand is October 22 in Auckland at Trusts Stadium, and the new Australian listing is Sydney at Acer on October 26. In Europe, the new stops include Helsinki, Finland on November 7 at Ice Hall, Tampere, Finland on November 8 at Ice Hall, Oslo on November 10 at Oslo Spektrum Arena ANS and Paris on November 21 & 22 at Zenith. The new listing for the U.K. is December 9 in Manchester at Manchester Evening News Arena.

Mannheim Steamroller is fielding multiple touring units, thus allowing the winter tradition to play different cities on the same night. For example, December 6 puts one company in St. Louis while the other performs in Atlantic City. December 12 lists both Des Moines and New Brunswick for tour stops and December 16 lists one company in Pittsburgh while the other plays Wichita, Kansas. Other cities on the tour include Greenville, South Carolina, Atlanta, Georgia, Memphis, Tennessee and Dallas, Texas.

Sara Evans updates today with new October shows. Like October 3 in Biloxi at Palace Casino, October 5 in Kansas City at Midland Theatre, October 16 in New Albany, Ohio at McCoy Center For The Arts and October 17 in Paducah, Kentucky at Carson Center.

And folksinger / songwriter Laura Marling adds several new United Kingdom dates for November. Included is Glasgow on November 1, Leeds on November 2, Nottingham on November 4 and London on November 11.
