The band’s dates with Motion City Soundtrack kick off September 22 at Club Oasis in Louisville, K.Y., and wrap October 2 at Rocketown in Nashville.

Other destinations include Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio (September 23), Northern Lights in Clifton Park, N.Y. (September 26), Toad’s Place in New Haven, Conn. (September 28), and the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh, N.C. (October 1).

Opening duties for selected stops will be handled by The Showdown, Dr. Manhattan, Forever In A Day, Hit The Lights and Person L.

Chiodos’ run with Silverstein launches October 10 at The Fillmore Detroit and will hit clubs and theatres across the country through mid-November.

Highlights include stops at The Rave Eagles Club in Milwaukee (October 11), Knitting Factory in Boise, Idaho (October 17), Rainbow Ballroom in Fresno, Calif. (October 22), Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa, Okla. (October 28), The Tabernacle in Atlanta (November 3), Rams Head Live! in Baltimore (November 9) and Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Mich. (November 14).

Chidos is out to mark the release of a special edition of its 2007 album Bone Palace Ballet.

The new version, due this fall, features new songs and a 30-minute teaser of the band’s upcoming live DVD, scheduled for release in early 2009.
