Before launching his trek, the politically minded artist will spend some time at the Democratic National Convention in Denver (August 23-29) to provide a youth perspective of the conference.
Murs, acting as a field corresponent, will be followed by cameras as he interviews fans, young politicians and supporters; attends press conferences, give speeches and performs at the Will.I.Am after-party that closes out the week’s events.
The MURS for President Tour kicks off September 13 at Aubergine and wraps things up December 11 at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.
Other stops include The Independent in San Francisco (October 7), Nectar Lounge in Seattle (October 11), 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis (October 17), Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland (October 24), Rock and Roll Hotel in Washington, D.C. (November 1), The Mercy Lounge in Nashville (November 7), Common Grounds in Gainesville, Fla. (Novemver 15), and The Record Bar in Kansas City, Mo. (November 21).
