Live Nation, which operates the Hollywood Palladium, said the goal of restoring the venerable 4,000 capacity venue was to return it to its condition on opening night in 1940, when it featured a performance by the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra and an up-and-coming singer named Frank Sinatra.

Renovations include the entire interior and exterior, with a new dance floor, a new façade and other changes modeled after the building’s original design.
