The band kicks off its next round of U.S. and Canadian shows September 19 at San Diego’s annual Street Scene music fest and will heat up festivals, clubs and theatres through early October.

Additional destinations include The Wiltern in Los Angeles (September 21-22), Palladium Ballroom in Dallas (September 25), Metro/Smart Bar in Chicago (September 28-29), Terminal 5 in New York City (October 3-4) Rams Head Live! in Baltimore (October 7) and Variety Playhouse in Atlanta.

Opening acts include IO Echo, Drums of Death, Vampire Weekend and Growing.

In addition to regular members Alexis Taylor, Joe Goddard, Owen Clarke, Al Doyle and Felix Martin, the band will add drummer Leo Taylor to the mix for this tour.

Fans who can’t make it to a Hot Chip live show can enjoy a slice of the group’s live experience with the recently released iTunes Live: Berlin Festival.

The 6-track EP, which was recorded at RadialsystemV last May, features several tracks from the band’s latest studio release, Made in the Dark, including “Out at the Pictures,” “One Pure Pure Thought” and “Ready for the Floor.”
