The 23-show tour kicks off October 30 at Coyote’s Music & Dance Hall in Louisville, K.Y., and will hit theatres across the country though the end of November.

Stops include The Tabernacle in Atlanta (November 1), Terminal 5 in New York City (November 6-7), Carnegie Music Hall in Pittsburgh (November 12), First Avenue in Minneapolis (November 15-16), Showbox at The Market in Seattle (November 20-21) and The Wiltern in Los Angeles (November 25).

Presale tickets will be available August 19-21, with general ticket sales beginning August 22.

The Hold Steady’s frontman, Craig Finn, said the trek means more to him than the average co-headlining run.

“Seeing the Drive-By Truckers on the Southern Rock Opera tour was instrumental to me wanting to start a band and play music again,” Finn explained. “That band is The Hold Steady. This tour brings it full circle, and it will be a pleasure and an honor to be able to share the stage with the Truckers. We’re gonna have a really good time.”
