RATM Rally Draws 9,000

An antiwar concert headlined by Rage Against The Machine drew an estimated 9,000 fans to the Denver Coliseum the morning of August 27.

About 8,000 free tickets were handed out by lottery for the show, sponsored by Tent State University and Iraq Veterans Against the War.

The RATM concert coincided with the Democratic National Convention and the band was expected to hold a similar concert during the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, Minn., September 3
