The band will play its final album, 1999’s The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner, in its entirety September 18 at the school’s Memorial Hall.

The show marks the group’s first public performance since disbanding in 2000, shortly after touring in support of Reinhold Messner.

Folds’ latest solo effort, the long-awaited Way to Normal, will be released September 16, with a tour to follow.

The singer’s solo run kicks off September 24 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. and will drop in on theatres, clubs and the occasional shed through mid-November.

Stops include Terminal 5 in New York City (September 30-October 1), The Fillmore Detroit (October 9), The Pageant in St. Louis (October 16), Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Mo. (October 22), Stubb’s Bar-B-Q / Waller Creek Amphitheatre in Austin (October 25) and The Wiltern in Los Angeles (November 14).
