The R&B singer told the Associated Press specific dates are still being worked out for the 15-city One Night Stand Tour and outlined the motivation behind a “ladies only” trek.

“There’s only a few artists that can pull that off,” Usher explained. “I feel like I’ve had such a connection with my audience.

“This album, I felt like, was definitely the type of one that was more intimate. So what better way to get up close and personal than to make it all women?”

In keeping with the theme, the singer is planning his own line of lingerie and men’s undergarments.

Usher will take a break from filming a video for his latest single, “Trading Places,” to perform at the National Football League’s annual kickoff concert September 4 along with Keith Urban and Natasha Bedingfield.
