The trek covers majors cities on the East Coast and touches down in the Midwest before moving westward, down the left coast and on to the South.

Tickets for upcoming US dates will go on sale the weekend of September20 at Ticketmaster and www.acdc.com.

More dates for North and South America, Europe, and Asia, will be announced shortly.

The worldwide tour – the band’s first since 2001 – comes in support of AC/DC’slatest studio album: Black Ice, which is set for release October 20. In the U.S., the disc will be sold exclusively at and sold in the US exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and www.acdc.com.

Earlier this week, The Australian icons released “No Bull: The Directors Cut” – a newly edited HD DVD of AC/DC’s July 1996 Plaza De Toros De Las Ventas concert in Madrid.
