3 Doors Down has postponed the next seven shows of its trek after frontman Brad Arnold was advised by his doctors to take an additional period of time off to rest his voice.

Affected shows include September 10 in Pikeville, Ky.; September 12 in Scranton, Pa.; September 13 in Columbia, Md.; September 14 in Virginia Beach, Va.; September 16 in Raleigh, N.C.; September 17 in Charlotte, N.C.; and September 19 in Bossier City, La.

New dates for these shows will be announced in the near future.

Avenged Sevenfold has also canceled the remaining U.S. dates on its fall tour to give frontman M. Shadows a chance to rest his voice after he was diagnosed with vocal fatigue earlier this month.

The band will resume touring October 15 in Osaka, Japan, and will be back on the road in the States with Buckcherry, Shinedown and Saving Abel starting November 4 in Casper, Wyo.
