The biggest show affected so far is an appearance by the Eagles scheduled for Houston’s Toyota center tonight. The concert has been postponed until a later date and tickets for tonight’s performance will be honored for the new date.

Other shows postponed by Ike include Jackson Tyler with South First Band tonight at Brewster Street Ice House in Corpus Christi and Steve Tyrell at the Grand Opera House in Galveston on September 13.

Concerts washed out completely by the mammoth storm include Jason Aldean At Sam Houston Race Park on September 12,Texas Gatorfest scheduled for September 12-14 at Fort Anahauc Park and Stoney LaRue at Schroder Hall in Corpus Christi scheduled for September 13.

Ticket holders should check with venues for refund information.

Since Ike is expected to become at least a Category 3 storm, with some forecasts indicating it could grow to a Category 4, it’s probably a good idea for anyone holding tickets for a performance in the area of the Texas Coast stretching from the Louisiana state line to Corpus Christi over the next few days to contact the venue to see whether the show is still on.
