The campaign, created by Toyota Yaris and Urban outfitters, features free shows at Urban Outfitters stores hosted by partner radio stations.

So far this year, !!!, Yeasayer, Times New Viking, Simian Mobile Disco, Tokyo Police Club, Secret Machines, Dan Deacon, White Williams, Mudhoney and No Age have all performed at events supporting stations like Austin’s KVXR, Salt Lake City’s KRCL, Philadelphia’s WPBR and Seattle’s KEXP.

The King Khan and Friends show is scheduled for September 24 in San Francisco, Lidell is set to play September 27 in Costa Mesa, Calif., and The Walkmen will perform October 6 in Miami Beach, Fla.

All Free Yr Radio concerts are free, but fans must visit FreeYrRadio.com to print and present an e-ticket. Guests will be admitted until the venue is full.

The program is designed to give independent radio stations tools to build awareness and help raise additional funds from listeners in their communities. Each participating station also awards a new Yaris to one listener during its fundraising or awareness-boosting activities.

A benefit compilation album featuring all of this year’s participating artists is slated for release this fall. All proceeds from the disc will be divided equally among participating stations.
