Upcoming shows affected by the cancellation include September 19 in Santa Barbara, Calif., September 20 at San Diego Street Scene and September 21 in Santa Rosa, Calif.

The band is working to reschedule the shows, along with a September 16 show in Mesa, Ariz., and a September 17 show in Los Angeles, for sometime in early 2009.

All remaining dates on The Black Crowes fall schedule will take place as scheduled.

Fans with tickets for canceled shows should obtain refunds from point of purchase.
