The Philly natives kick off the You Are My Manifest Destiny Tour September 27 with a pair of shows at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and Emo’s.

Stops on the itinerary include Webster Hall in New York City (October 10), Grog Shop in Cleveland (October 14), The Bottom Lounge in Chicago (October 18), The Mercy Lounge in Nashville (October 22), Voodoo Music Experience in New Orleans (October 24), Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville, Fla. (October 27), and The National in Richmond, Va. (October 30).

Joining Man Man on the road in mid-October will be performance artist, musician and labelmate Tim Fite, who utilizes a laptop, drawings, handmade boomboxes and his brother, Dr. Leisure, to get his point across on stage.

Tickets for some shows are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Man Man is quickly becoming legendary for its live shows, which feature the band playing a whirlwind of songs that flow seamlessly from one to the other on a jumble of swapped instruments and found objects while fans, clad in real and fake mustaches, war paint and white clothes, rocks out.
