Oakland Rights Up For Grabs

With the expiration of McAfee’s 10-year naming rights contract Sept. 18, the 62,500-capacity stadium in Oakland, Calif., will once again be known as Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum.

McAfee chose not to renew the contract, and the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Authority plans to find a new sponsor, according to a statement.

In addition to hosting big-name artists, the stadium is home to the NFL’s Raiders and baseball’s Oakland Athletics.
