City Takes Over Leach

The city parks department in Oshkosh, Wis., will take over operations of Leach Amphitheatre from facility management company PMI, which bowed out of its contract with the venue earlier this year.

City councilors began researching management options in May, according to the Northwestern, before deciding the Leach could prove more profitable as a self-managed shed.

Plans for the amphitheatre reportedly include developing an aggressive new marketing campaign and installing new chairs.
