David Haber Dies
David Haber, 81, a former agent, arts impresario and consultant, died Sept. 21 at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston.
As a former agent for William Morris Agency, he represented John Gielgud, Marlene Dietrich and Mahalia Jackson, among others, according to CBC News.
He then formed Haber Artists Management, which counted on its roster the Famous People Players and several dancers.
Haber also directed arts festivals for the Vancouver and Montreal world’s fairs and was a former artistic director of the National Ballet of Canada.
