Jay-Z will give two free concerts in support of voter registration and presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama – Oct. 4 at Detroit’s Cobo Arena and Miami’s Bayfront Park Amphitheatre the following day.
Bruce Springsteen and Billy Joel are putting on a benefit concert for the nominee Oct. 16 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, which Obama plans to attend. Tickets start at $500.
In Monterey, Calif., the Original Wailers, Laurie Lewis, Tom Rozum and Alex Lee are some of the artists to perform Nov. 1 at BaROCK the Peninsula! in support of Obama.
