Grammy-winning Tejano singer Emilio Navaira has had a spate of bad luck.
Navaira and his wife, Maria, were released Sept. 25 from a San Antonio hospital after treatment for injuries from a traffic accident.
The couple was reportedly heading home from the singer’s physical therapy session when a pickup collided with their car.
Navaira’s spokesman, Joe Casias, told the San Antonio News-Express that doctors are keeping an eye on the performer, who is recovering from brain injuries he suffered when his tour bus crashed into a center divider near Houston in March.
The singer was driving the bus at the time of the crash but was not licensed to do so.
