Midday Update – 10/08
Anyway, we’re back up and running and raring to go with stories about Madonna’s guest list, bad news and good news for Dave Navarro, Wynonna’s latest release, Michelle Williams on why she’s been away and using comedy as a force for good.
Plus we’ve been beating the drum double time so the galley slaves could get in new dates for Rhianna and Chris Brown, LeAnn Rimes, Bettye Lavette and Demiricous and The Gates of Slumber.
Link-O-Rama …

Dates, Dates & More Dates …
Rihanna and Chris Brown are headed down under and selling out fast. Newly added shows include second nights in Auckland, New Zealand, and Boondall and Melbourne in Australia. The pair also added two nights in Sydney.
We like a girl who plans ahead. LeAnn Rimes is busy filling up her touring calendar for the next six months. Stops include Lake Charles, La.; Snoqualmie, Wash.; San Bernadino, Calif.; and Rama and Windor, Ontario.
Speaking of busy, the amazing Bettye LaVette isn’t showing any signs of slowing, adding dates for Oakland, Calif.; Sacramento, Calif.; Nelsonville, Ohio; and Allston, Mass.
Looks like Indianapolis is about to become famous for more than just race cars. Metal outfits Demiricous and The Gates of Slumber are about to invade clubs across the country. Cities in their path include Seattle, Los Angeles, Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, Baltimore, New York, Cleveland and New York City.
We’ve updated itineraries for dozens of acts today and there’s lots more to come. Be sure to check back in at 5 pm PST for The Closing Bell. And don’t worry, we don’t anticipate any more technical problems. We bought the entire I.T. department sippy cups.
