Britney Hits The Road?

Britney Spears will apparently support her forthcoming release, Circus, with her first worldwide tour since 2004.

According to published reports, the singer has struck a deal with AEG Live, which has recently overseen successful tours for acts including Bon Jovi and Justin Timberlake.

When contacted by Pollstar for details about the 2009 trek, Spears’ management said that they had no specific information at this time.

The clip for “Womanizer,” which features the singer naked, has generated considerable critical and public buzz since its debut on “20/20” in early October.

Circus, the follow up to 2007’s Blackout, is due out Dec. 2.
