Rap Fan Can’t Face The Music
An Urbana University student told an Ohio judge he just couldn’t face the music when offered the chance to reduce a fine for blasting rap music on his car stereo.
Andrew Vactor was facing a $150 fine for the infraction, but a Champaign County Municipal Court judge offered to reduce it to $35 in exchange for listening to 20 hours of classical music.
A probation officer reported that Vactor lasted just 15 minutes before deciding to pony up the $150. It wasn’t the music, Vactor said.He just needed to be at basketball practice with the rest of the UU team.
“I didn’t have time to deal with that,” he said.
