Roseland Looks To LN Ticketing

New York City’s Roseland Ballroom and Live Nation announced Oct. 14 a five-year relationship with Live Nation Ticketing as the venue’s primary ticketing company. The agreement runs 2009 to 2014.

The deal comes on the heels of a similar one between Live Nation and SMG, which announced Sept. 11 it would enter into a five-year exclusive agreement to use Live Nation’s ticketing system.

“With Live Nation Ticketing, the content and ticketing model has changed – I don’t need multiple partners to fill my venue and handle the ticket transaction with the fan,” venue co-owner Larry Ginsberg said in a statement. “Live Nation and Roseland are the longest-running rock couple on Broadway so it makes perfect sense to trust them as my ticket company.”
