McGraw Apologizes

Curb Records recently released Greatest Hits 3, Tim McGraw’s third compilation with songs from 1995 to present – but rather than promoting the album, the country singer said he was “saddened and disappointed” the label released the CD instead of new material.

“I’ve only had one studio album since my last hits package,” McGraw said in a statement. “It has to be just as confusing to the fans as it is to me.”

McGraw has been working on a new album for longer than a year and debuted three new songs on this summer’s Live Your Voice tour.

Curb wanted to release another hits package to keep the singer under contract longer, according to the statement.
