The band, led by frontman Bradford Cox, kicks off the jaunt October 31 at Variety Playhouse in Atlanta and will visit clubs and theatres all over the U.S. and Canada before calling it a day December 6 at Bottletree in Birmingham, Ala.

Stops include Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, N.C. (November 2), Black Cat in Washington, D.C. (November 4), Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, N.Y. (November 7), Lee’s Palace in Toronto (November 12), Triple Rock Social Club in Minneapolis (November 17), Great American Music Hall in San Francisco (November 24), The Loft in Dallas (December 1) and One Eyed Jacks in New Orleans (December 5).

Microcastle, due October 28, was recorded over the course of a week in Brooklyn, N.Y., by Cox, Lockett Pundt, Joshua Fauver and Moses Archuleta.

The disc includes “Saved By Old Times, which features a vocal collage by The Black Lips‘ Cole Alexander, and “Agoraphobia” and” Neither of Us, Uncertainly,” with lead vocals by guitarist Pundt.
