Hudson Family Murder
The mother of Oscar-winning actress and former “American Idol” contestant Jennifer Hudson is believed to be one of two people found shot to death in Chicago Oct. 24, according to the Chicago Tribune.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office told the Tribune one of the victims was a woman in her 50s who was shot in the head and the other was a 29-year-old man who was shot in the chest.
Authorities also said that a 6- or 7-year-old boy identified as Julian King was reported missing by the singer’s sister, but did not elaborate on the child’s relationship to the family.
An unnamed source told the paper the bodies were found around 3 p.m. CDT at a home owned by Darnell Donnerson, Hudson’s mother.
Police are also searching for a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban with Illinois tags that is believed to be registered to Jason Hudson, the singer’s brother.
Hudson’s bodyguard told the Tribune the singer was not at the home at the time of the incident and is not injured.
