Others on the bill for the Dec. 11 show at Oslo Spektrum include Mexican singer/songwriter Julieta Venegas and Nigerian star Seun Kuti. American actress Scarlett Johansson will host the show.

Norwegian Nobel Committee’s non-voting secretary Geir Lundestad said the concert, which will be televised in as many as 100 countries, is the most popular event on the Nobel calendar.

A day earlier at the city’s Nobel Peace Center, this year’s prize will be presented to former Finnish president and United Nations diplomat Martti Ahtisaari Dec. 10.
