Hamilton kicks off his Playin’ It Cool tour November 5 at Chicago’s House of Blues and will drop in on clubs and theatres scattered across the map through mid-December.

Folks in store for a healthy dose of the singer’s neo soul grooves include Epic Center in Minneapolis (November 7), Lincoln Theatre in Washington, D.C. (November 13), The Tralf Music Hall in Buffalo, N.Y. (November 15), Blender Theatre at Gramercy in New York City (November 19), Amos’ Southend in Charlotte, N.C. (November 23), Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville (November 30), Austin Music Hall (December 5), House of Blues in Anaheim, Calif. (December 11) and The Wiltern in Los Angeles (December 13).

The Point of It All, due December 2, is the follow up to 2005’s Ain’t Nobody Worryin’ and was co-produced by Hamilton and a number of collaborators, including Mark Batson, Kelvin Wooten, The Avila Brothers and Jack Splash.

“Cool,” the first track from the disc, features a guest appearance by David Banner.
