Magic City Music Hall Closing

The 1,319-capacity Magic City Music Hall in Johnson City, N.Y., is shutting down and the owners are looking for a new site in nearby areas.

A spokesman told Pollstar the club would shut down Oct. 31 and supporters were disappointed because the major concerts on the books would have to be canceled.

Owners could not come to a lease agreement with the landlord. The venue has hosted Ted Nugent, B.B. King, Snoop Dogg and Blues Traveler, among others.
