The latest schedule for Snow Patrol was sitting on our doorstep when we punched in this morning, showing the band playing the United Kingdom during February and March. Individual dates include February 22 in Bournemouth at the International Centre, February 24 in Glasgow at the S.E.C.C., February 26 in Aberdeen at the Exhibition & Conference Centre, March 6 in Liverpool at the Echo Arena and March 14 in London at the O2 Arena. Other towns on the schedule include Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Birmingham and Belfast, as well as a Dublin, Ireland, date scheduled for February 28.

Speaking of the U.K. – Russell Watson has been a long-time star of the concert stage even though the English tenor has yet to attract the same size crowds in The Colonies that he constantly plays to across the pond. In fact, most Americans probably only know him as the man who sang the theme to the “Star Trek: Enterprise” TV show a few years back. New U.K. stops for Mr. Watson include Ipswich on March 22 at the Regent Theatre, Nottingham on March 25 at the Royal Centre, Liverpool on March 30 at Philharmonic Hall, Glasgow on April 3 at Clyde Auditorium and London on April 11 at Royal Albert All. Other stops on the schedule include Brighton, Bristol, Plymouth, Manchester and Oxford.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds update today with three new New York City dates slotted for January – 16 – 18 at the Iridium Jazz Club. Other new additions include December 31 in Pittsburgh at First Night – Pittsburgh, and Foxboro, Massachusetts, on January 15 at Showcase Live.

During the first couple of hours of toiling for THE MAN, we also updated the schedules for John Pizzarelli, Eliza Carthy, Tracy Lawrence, Waterson : Carthy, Souls Of Mischief and Reagan Youth.

And we’re off and running in what’s shaping up to be a fine Thursday for fresh concert data. Check out the latest date-city-venue action in your Midday Update, posting around 12 noon (PDT) on Pollstar.com!
