Mindy McCready Out Of Jail
Country singer Mindy McCready has been released from jail after serving a 60-day sentence for violating her probation on a 2004 drug charge.
The Williamson County Sheriff’s Department says McCready was released Friday morning.
The 32-year-old singer was accused in June of falsifying her community service records and charged with violating her probation.
McCready received a suspended 3-year sentence in 2004 for fraudulently obtaining prescription painkillers.
In July 2007, she was accused of scuffling with her mother and resisting arrest at her mother’s home in Fort Myers, Fla. She was sentenced to prison for the probation violation and released last December.
