KCRW’s Harcourt Steps Down

Nic Harcourt, host of the influential “Morning Becomes Eclectic” show on KCRW-FM in Santa Monica, Calif., is stepping down as music director but intends to continue with the three-hour tastemaking music program.

Harcourt is expected to step down Nov. 30 to pursue independent projects but will return to the studio Sundays 6-9 p.m. PST.

Harcourt has been music director and programmer of the Santa Monica College radio station for 10 years. Hundreds of artists have been introduced to SoCal and national audiences through their live performances on “Morning Becomes Eclectic.”
