The band will launch the party March 3 at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin and descend upon clubs across the U.S. and Canada through the end of the month.

Stops on the schedule include The Glass House in Pomona, Calif. (March 9), The Fillmore in San Francisco (March 12), Vic Theatre in Chicago (March 18), Terminal 5 in New York City (March 21), 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. (March 23), and Club Firestone in Orlando, Fla. (March 27).

Joining Cut Copy for the trek are Brooklyn’s Matt & Kim and a surprise DJ.

Cut Copy hails from Melbourne and was founded in 2001 by DJ and graphic designer Dan Whitford. Since releasing its 2004 debut full-length the band has toured extensively with acts like The Presets, Franz Ferdinand, Junior Senior, Bloc Party, Mylo and Daft Punk.

In Ghost Colors, the group’s sophomore effort, was released in March.
