More Eagles Shows Fee-Free

The Eagles show in Greensboro, N.C., isn’t the only one without a service charge.

Ticketmaster is treading further into “no-fee” ticketing territory with the announcement that all future ticket onsales for the winter leg of the Eagles’ Long Road Out of Eden tour will be free of convenience charges.

Dates include Jan. 12 in Hampton, Va., Jan. 14 in Charlotte, N.C., Jan. 16 in North Charleston, S.C., the Jan. 17 concert in Greensboro, N.C., Jan. 19 in Greenville, S.C., Jan. 23 in New Orleans and Jan. 24 in Birmingham, Ala.

There’s still a fee if one wants to have the ticket delivered by mail but Eagles fans that use TM’s print-at-home option forgo delivery and handling fees.

TM President Sean Moriarty said the company is consulting with clients in hopes of “rolling out the ‘all-in ticketing’ program for events nationwide.”
