Road Revival For ‘Clarity’

Jimmy Eat World will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its classic release Clarity with 10 upcoming shows that feature the album played in its entirety.

The “Clarity x 10” tour kicks off at Terminal 5 in NYC Feb. 23 and wraps in the band’s home territory, The Marquee in Tempe, Ariz., March 7.

Other stops include Washington D.C.’s 9:30 Club (Feb. 24), Trocadero Theatre in Philadelphia (Feb. 25), House Of Blues in Boston (Feb. 26), Chicago’s Metro / Smart Bar (Feb. 28), Ogden Theatre in Denver, (March 2), The Fillmore in San Francisco (March 4), L.A.’s Club Nokia (March 5) and House of Blues in San Diego (March 6).

Jimmy Eat World re-released the album last year to great acclaim, although that wasn’t always the case. After Clarity originally came out, the band was dropped by Capitol and took on a relentless touring schedule to fund its next album.
