Cyrus Death Rumors A Hoax

All’s well in the world of Miley Cyrus, contrary to reports following a recent YouTube posting that claimed the singer had been killed by a drunk driver.

Set to Cyrus’ song “Goodbye,” the video, posted on the “Miley and Mandy Show” YouTube page, allegedly featured a message from Cyrus’ BFF and co-host Mandy Jiroux.

“We’re very hurt to tell everyone this, but Miley died this morning after being hit by a drunk driver,” the message read. “Miley told us if anything ever happened to her, then we should let all her fans know before the public. … R.I.P. honey, we will miss you so much.”

Jiroux told E! News the video was the work of a hacker, and posted a message at the top of her MySpace page to alert fans: “MILEY IS OK!! Some1 hacked our youtube account!”

The video was later removed from the site.
