Maddy’s Big D Ending?

Madonna and Guy Ritchie will likely be initially divorced tomorrow, Nov. 21. Madonna will get to keep the bulk of her $445 million fortune. Oh, and she gets to see her kids, too, in a joint custody decision.

London’s High Court lists “Ciccone M L v Ritchie G S” as one of its 17 cases for “matrimonial and civil partnership causes for pronouncement of decree.” That means a judge is preparing to grant the couple a prelim divorce decree or, in Latin, decree nisi.

British media has reported the pair has reached a settlement. The Evening Standard said Ritchie has refused to take any of Madonna’s assets. The Times of London reported basically the same thing.

The couple’s two children – Rocco, 8, and David Banda, 3, who was adopted from Malawi in 2006, will split their time between Britain and the U.S., according to the papers. Madonna’s 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, Lourdes, will just plain hang with Maddy.

As is the British way, neither newspaper cited a named source.
